Holiday Images

These photos are from previous holidays and outings.
I took them with my phone, as I didn't have a camera, so the quality of the image isn't great.
However, as they are detailed images, I thought they may work by contrasting with other images from my project when I overlay them in photoshop.

I edited this image to be black and white to ensure the detail would be visible. The snowy mountain tops in the background work well with this filter, as it makes the texture of the image feel more wintry.
The foreground of the rowing boats first catch your eye, followed by the ripples in the water, then the mountains. What catches your eye in this image is that each section is filled with interesting detail to look at.

This image shows humans being at one with Gods creation.
The colours of the butterfly are really bright, which contrast the surrounding colours of the image, making it stand out. Because of this, the butterfly is what catches your eye first. The detail of the patterns on the butterfly show Gods design in this image. However, the composition could be improved if the butterfly was either in the centre, or more obviously to one side of the photograph. Also, the brickwork in the background is distracting, and may take away the main focus of the butterfly in this image.

The mix of colours in this image make it eye catching. The emotion in the photo makes you feel relaxed and at peace, which relates to Charles Cramers photography.
The image is composed with the detail of the pebbles and rocks in the foreground, and the clear blue sea and sky in the background. This evens out the image, as it is not too busy, but the two sections contrast in  texture.
