Dev 2 : uniqueness in the beauty of Gods design

DEV 2
Another idea I thought of, was to show Gods 'weird and wonderful' creation by showing the uniqueness of his design.

In my first few shoots of this development, I wanted to use the inspiration of Adam Burtons photography, as he captures the wonderful colours in all his images. At first, I specifically wanted to do this in sunsets:

This shot was done without a tripod with the aperture on as higher 1/ as it could be, without getting camera shake. I feel that the colours are nice, but it would have come out more beautiful with a more array of colours if I used a tripod, as it would have had a longer shutter speed to capture all the colours.

I really like this image, as the tree contrasts the colours of the sky greatly. I love how the different colours all merge. I feel it really portrays the magnificence of Gods creation, as it almost looks as if the sky is going to fall down. It gives the impression that a supernatural being is present.

This is probably my favourite image. I love the silhouetted branch in the foreground, as it breaks up the image well and contrasts the colourful background. Even though it is pretty much central, I feel it would be better if the branch was slightly more to the left so it would be right in the middle.

---------------

I went on a walk and found a strange plant. Some of the berries were dying, and it made me think that even though dead things can look ugly, and we portray death as a horrible thing, it is a natural part of life, and this plant has beautiful and interesting aspects, even though it is dying. It was definitely unique.

I love the contrast in colour of this image.
Your eye goes straight to the berry as its redness makes it stand out.

I like this image as it shows the patterns in nature, and how pretty things can look. I like the composition of it, as the berry is in the foreground with branches almost making a pattern in the background, which helps fill the image space nicely. However, to improve this image, I would try to focus more on the berry in the foreground to draw your eye more to it first.

I love this image, as it shows the wrinkles on the berry really clearly. It is very in focus, which makes it easier to show the uniqueness of Gods designs. I like the different colours of the berries as it makes the image more interesting to look at. To improve this image, I would think more about the composition of it, as the berries look like they are just put in the middle of the photograph without thought. I feel that if they were in a corner of the image it would look more pleasing and interesting.

I became very interested in the ways of which that particular plant was unique, so I continued with this idea, and decided to look more at the life of trees/plants:

Your eye first goes to the main tree trunks in the bottom right hand corner, and works your way up the branches to the clouds. I like the contrast in this image, especially the clouds, as they bring more colour and make the image more interesting. I like how the branches create patterns in the image.

I really like this image as it shows the crunchy textures of the leaves. It is also very colourful. Your eye first goes to the foreground leaves, as they are in focus.
To improve this image I would ensure that the bottom right hand corner is in focus, as it looks odd.

The Lake District
I went on holiday to the Lakes and took many beautiful images of the surrounding landscapes, which I felt really showed the uniqueness in the beauty of Gods design, as the mountains, hills and lakes all around were a stunning view.

I used this image to overlay other images onto it on photoshop.

The clouds and mountains contrast in colour and texture in this image

I made this image horizontal so it would fit into my square
